This song and this music video make me ridiculously happy. I’ve had this stuck in my head all week. Feist just has a knack for writing uncompromisingly happy songs. First there was “Mushaboom,” and now “1234.” And as much as I love Feist’s other songs, part of me wishes that her albums were just filled with “1234″s. This song just makes me feel so happy.
This is another song that I’ve been listening to non-stop lately. Spoon has always been a favorite ever since I first heard “Jonathon Fisk.” Their songs are, at the same time, catchy and grow on you over time. And each album they release is better than the last. In addition to “Underdog,” I love “Don’t You Evah.”
omg me too! for a while all i was doing was listening to feist, especially 1234 and mushaboom. it especially pumps me up for papers.

I completely agree — Feist should only write 1234/Mushaboom-esque songs, they’re so wonderful.
When are your finals? We still need to find time for Kerbey Lane or something before school’s over!
